There are plenty of reasons why you might decide to see a naturopath. Common scenarios where we find women might seek help are:

-
If you are struggling with symptoms that you think may be due to your hormones
-
If you have symptoms and feel like you are not being listened to by your GP or other health professionals
-
If your work/relationships/life in general are being affected by your symptoms
-
If you want to find out what's available and how to best navigate your midlife health
Holistic and Functional Nutrition
As a naturopath, I believe our best medicine comes from the food we eat, and at the same time, I know that medicinal plants have been an integral part of the daily diet of the healthiest cultures of the world - just think about the abundance of herbs in traditional cuisines globally.
I offer you guidance on what to eat made from whole food that is also therapeutic and biologically active.
Menopause often brings changes that can affect weight and overall health. I understand the complexities of weight management during this life stage, so aim to create individualised nutritional advice based on each persons constitution, symptoms and dietary needs whilst holding the values of seasonal, local and whole foods as pillars of my practice

Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food!
Clinical Herbal Medicine
Herbal medicine is an intriguing biochemical conversation between people and plants used in health and healing. The human connection to the use of plants as medicine is nearly as old as humans themselves. As a naturopath, I smooth the way through understanding the composition of plants and how they work in the body.

A healthy relationship with medicinal plants goes beyond pills and potions and integrates into our daily life. There are multitudes of ways we can prepare medicinal plants which can be easily be incorporated into our diets, such as teas, medicinal hummus, pesto and even chocolate!
While I focus on safety parameters, modern evidence base & science, I am always mindful of offering herbal experiences tailor-made for the individual.
