Oatmeal Nerve Crackers

The real beauty of wholegrain oats is they are rich in vitamin B & E, iron and magnesium. Magnesium and vitamin B are both important for strong nerves. Oats also aid concentration levels and promote a sound nights sleep by helping melatonin to reach your brain. If your'e not coeliac and are simply looking to reduce your wheat intake, these oat crackers are a delicious alternative to bread.

3 cups organic rolled oats

1/2 cup mixed whole linseed & sesame seeds

1 teaspoon sea salt

optional: 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh rosemary

Blitz until resembles a course flour..

Add:

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil

1/2 cup warm water

Mix to a firm dough, press and roll onto a baking paper lined tray.

Cut into shapes and bake in a medium oven for 20 - 30 minutes until firm and ever so slightly golden around the edges.

Eat in a relaxed state with a pot of my digestive tea.
