These raw bliss balls have the addition of herbal ally Astragalus - one of my favourite immune-enhancing plants - the powder of which I add a bit here and there to soups, stews and casseroles to keep the family vitality ball rolling as we go deeper into Autumn...
* 1/3rd cup of each - sunflower, sesame & pumpkin seeds
* 1/2 cup shredded coconut
* 1/2 cup walnuts
* 1 cup almonds
* 2/3rd cup cacao powder
* 1 tablespoon dried Astragalus powder
Blitz the above in a blender - add 1 1/2 cups chopped dates.
Blitz a little more.
* 1/3rd cup of each - tahini, honey & coconut oil.
Add to dry ingredients and blend well.
Now roll the mixture into balls and place on a tray covered in baking paper. Store in the fridge. They never last long in our household!
